Mingalarba...

Welcome to my page.. 'm no stranger to blogs but never have the courage of getting one myself. This blog is to get connected with lovely womens out there to share all about Women's ultimate favourite "MakeUp". Like many other women I have a love and hate relationship with makeup for a very long time. Started off with a rather hate relationship but if you ask me now I would say I heart makeupss.

It all started in 2001 while waiting to join college, I visited the Loreal counter at Asia Light Supermarket & got my first bottle of liquid foundation. Unfortunately my skin tone doesn't fall into the typical Myanmar Girl's skintone which is Ivory or Beige but counter staff insisted that is the right shade for me.

I came home applying foundation happily with my bare hands looking in the mirror self-admiring & still happy of my first makeup purchase. The remark I got from my friends at college was not very pretty. They said my face looks very blueish or rather "chocolate mho tet" with the foundation. I kept denying them that the counter staff knows the best as none of us are pro in makeup and stuffs that time.

So yeah.. I passed my college years being chocolate mho tet with the same shade of Loreal foundation the counterstaffs are selling me until I went for my first oversea trip. I went to Kanebo counter at Takashimaya & asked them to sell me a bottle of liquid foundation for myself. The counterstaff looked at me and said "I'm so sorry there isn't any right shade of foundation for you at my brand but you'll find your right shade at Estee or Bobbi Brown"

Then I realized that the regardless of your skintone, there is always the right shade of foundation for you out there. You just have to find it until you get it. My love relation immediately start and growing stronger by the years since I found the right shade. Between 2002 and 2013 (at present) I switched between Clinque, Estee, Bobbi Brown, Revlon until I found a brand I can't live without... the infamous "MAC" of course.

I got my first pressed powder at Harrods and I still keep the empty casing as memory. My vanity area has packed with stuffs day by day and my love affair with makeup grow stronger and stronger...

Needless to say that my addiction in watching youtube gurus and trying out new products has become part of the life.. When I moved back to Yangon in 2009, the internet speed was too slow to watch my regular dosage of youtube lessons. So I tried downloading lots of those whenever I got a chance to go out of country..

Since I love makeup so much I decided to have a page of my own to share all about makeup..

Gonna do a review on my everyday makeup items in the picture tomorrow.

So keep in touch Girls...

xoxo
